Update on injured female

Ok so Cleo made it through the night but I don't think she is going to make it. She started turning white from her tail all the way up her body. She is now completely pale and barely moving at all. I still have her isolated in the breeder box. But she isn't eating and is just barely hovering at the surface of the water. My guess from some of my research is that this is simple a case of too much stress on her what with the tail injury and new tank. She may also have an infection. I don't know whether to let her die naturally or to put her out of her misery. I worry that if she does have an infection she may infect the other fish in the tank. All of my other fish are very active and happy. I'd hate for anything to happen to them. I had a male die a couple of days ago so I am going to take him back to the pet store to get a replacement, and I think I might take the female too, if she doesn't make it. I am also going to buy some more females so that the 3 that I do have now aren't so pestered.

Hurt Female?

Ok so my female, Cleopatra, looks like her tail has been bitten and has now lost all its color and most of its volume. She is having a hard time swimming and is being pestered by the males so I put her in the breeder box alone to heal. I hope she will recover. I don't know if their tails can grow back. I will have to do some research to find out. She seems to be hanging on for the time being though. I'll see if she makes it through the night.

Is my female pregnant?

Ok so I am a first time Guppy breeder. I thought I'd make a record of it. If not for other's then at least for myself and my records. I just bought a few males and females a couple of days ago. I haven't expected anything yet, but was doing some research so I would be ready when my females did get pregnant. I came across the "gravid spot" on females and how it gets bigger and darker when they get pregnant and continues to grow and darken as the pregnancy progresses. I notices that 3 of my females have significant gravid spots and I wondered if they could possibly already be pregnant. One of them is even pretty fat already. I guess I will just have to wait and find out. There is a picture of her above. I've named her Gorgo. One of my males is Leonidas :D I'll let you know when I know more!
